We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Director of Sales, RV OEM. This position reports to Vice President/General Manager, Land Vehicles America and will work in Elkhart, IN.


About the Position


The Director of Sales, RV OEM at Dometic Corporation will lead the sales strategy and execution for the Recreational Vehicle (RV) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) channel. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management to drive revenue growth, build lasting customer relationships, and position Dometic as the preferred partner in the RV industry.


Your main responsibilities


Strategic Sales Leadership:



  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the RV OEM market to meet and exceed revenue goals.

  • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and customer needs within the RV industry.


Team Management and Development:



  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team specializing in RV OEM partnerships.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Customer Relationship Management:



  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key RV OEM customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

  • Act as the primary contact for strategic negotiations, escalations, and customer engagements.


Business Development:



  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the RV OEM sector, expanding Dometic’s market share.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on product development and marketing strategies for the RV market.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure the timely delivery of products that meet customer expectations.

  • Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs and market dynamics to guide product innovation.


Financial Management:



  • Develop and manage the RV OEM sales budget, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives.

  • Monitor pricing strategies and contract negotiations to achieve profitability targets.


Market Insights and Analysis:



  • Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer demands.

  • Use data-driven insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be a solid experience within RVOEM sales – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Progressive experience in sales, with prior leadership focused on the RV OEM market.

  • Strong understanding of the RV industry, including customer dynamics, market trends, and competitor activities.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies for OEM partnerships.
