Job Description

VP Racing Fuels is seeking a full-time Website Manager | eCommerce Manager at our Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. This key position sits at the intersection of technology, eCommerce, and brand execution, responsible for driving performance and growth across our DTC and B2B Shopify Plus websites and overseeing our Shopify POS system used at race events and brand activations. 

 

This isn’t just about managing a website. Tt’s about creating a seamless, high-octane digital experience that mirrors the power and precision of our products. You’ll own the online storefront end-to-end, from UX and SEO to merchandising and technical optimization, ensuring every interaction converts visitors into loyal fans.

 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role partners cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and operations to accelerate digital sales, streamline workflows, and bring the VP Racing brand to life online.

 

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Own daily management of the Shopify Plus platform, including product launches, collection setup, merchandising, promotions, and pricing.


• Optimize the Shopify storefront and theme using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid to improve user experience and conversion flows.


• Set up and manage Shopify POS systems for race events and brand activations, ensuring flawless on-site transactions and inventory sync.


• Lead the launch of promotions, campaigns, and content updates in coordination with brand and sales calendars.


• Leverage Shopify Plus tools like Flow, Launchpad, Scripts, and B2B features to automate workflows and tailor the customer experience.


• Monitor and analyze eCommerce KPIs including sales, traffic, bounce rates, and conversion to drive informed decision-making.


• Continuously enhance SEO, metadata, and site structure to grow organic traffic.


• Troubleshoot issues in partnership with internal developers or agency partners to maintain a high-performance, bug-free website.


• Support third-party integrations and apps (e.g., loyalty, reviews, analytics, personalization).


• Coordinate with fulfillment, customer support, and logistics to ensure a seamless order-to-delivery experience.


• Report on site health, campaign performance, and KPIs using tools like Shopify Reports, GA4, and Looker Studio.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise. If this describes you and you meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or related field; AND at least three (3) years of experience in website management and e-commerce experience; OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities.


• 3–5 years of experience managing a Shopify Plus store (DTC and/or B2B strongly preferred) 


• Experience using analytics tools like GA4, Shopify Analytics, Hotjar, or Clarity


• Strong understanding of Shopify Plus features (Launchpad, Flow, Scripts, metafields, etc.)
