We are currently seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Supplier Relations Leader to join our team and serve as a key connector between AAM Headquarters, our Distributor Members, and Supplier Partners.

Position Overview:
The Supplier Relations Leader plays a central role in fostering strong, productive relationships within the AAM network. This individual will be responsible for enhancing engagement between our members and supplier partners, identifying areas of opportunity, and executing strategic initiatives to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main liaison between AAM Headquarters, Distributor Members, and Supplier Partners.


• Build and strengthen relationships with both members and suppliers to support growth and collaboration.


• Analyze data and feedback to develop actionable plans aligned with performance metrics and strategic objectives.


• Collaborate closely with AAM’s Supplier Relations Team to review reports and create tailored engagement strategies.


• Actively participate in team discussions, providing input and suggestions for continuous improvement.

• Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities; able to find win-win solutions.


• Clear and confident communicator with creative ideas for partnership growth.


• Resilient and assertive, with the ability to handle rejection or push-back professionally.


• Familiarity with the automotive aftermarket industry; experience in wholesale distribution is preferred.
