Job Description

The Sr. Training Specialist will be responsible for supporting dealership employees with online and in-person training related to Karma Automotive products.


Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): 



  • Develop sales, marketing, and technical descriptions into usable and teachable information for retail partners.

  • Develop and deliver online courses.

  • Act as the subject matter expert to various departments inside and out of Karma Automotive.

  • Present and deliver training in classroom and one-on-one environments at Karma Headquarters as well as in the field.

  • Perform other duties, as assigned.



Required Qualifications: 



  • BS Degree in Automotive Technology, Technical Instructor, or engineering is preferred. ASE Certification, High Voltage Training Certificate preferred.

  • 8+ years of practical experience as an automotive technician, preferably with premium brands.

  • 8+ Years of practical experience developing and presenting technical training.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Extensive automotive electrical/electronics background.

  • Thorough knowledge of automotive Hybrid, and High Voltage systems.

  • The ability to understand and translate highly technical IT and engineering information.

  • Broad knowledge of all automotive systems (powertrain, chassis, electrical, thermal).

  • Resilient and adaptable. Able to maintain a consistently high level of work and professional output in times of change.

  • Proficient with desktop software including Word, Power Point, and Excel.

  • A winning mentality - demonstrates great drive to achieve outstanding results.

  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015), as applicable.

Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing their job in an indoor office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may spend 100% (excluding breaks and meal periods) of time in an office environment.

Compensation:


$100,000 - 115,000 /annual salary. Compensation will vary DOE.

Compensation offered may vary on multiple factors, including market location, education, skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position being offered.
