Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Help oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and more.
• Manage financial reporting to ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insightful financial analysis.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity.
• Provide strategic input to support long-term financial planning and growth initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend customer credit limits.
• Handle sales tax filings and business property tax.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP systems) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, ideally within small to medium-sized companies.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Public Accounting experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
