Baja Designs/sPOD is growing! We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic individual that is detail oriented and is looking to create a career within the off-road industry. This is a growth opportunity with room for advancement.


Performance lighting solutions from Baja Designs have been at the forefront of off-road lighting for 30+ years. We specialize in LED light bars, LED auxiliary lights, the world’s first laser and auxiliary lights. In addition, our sPOD precision power distribution systems are created with top-tier 12V power control solutions for various applications, including camper vans, race trucks, industrial equipment, and agriculture. 
 
Established in 2005, sPOD precision power distribution systems have been part of the Baja Designs family for the past three years. With sPOD, you can say goodbye to cumbersome relays, wiring looms, and circuit fuses. Our solid-state power control management system is one of the simplest and most efficient solutions available today.

What Retail Sales will do:


  • Provide expert product support and guidance to customers via phone, email, live chat, and in-person interactions.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to product-related inquiries.

  • Assist customers with product selection and sales inquiries to ensure a seamless buying experience.

  • Conduct upselling and cross-selling when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.

  • Process sales transactions through various platforms, including phone, email, live chat, and walk-ins.

  • Support on-site retail sales efforts at off-road and motor sports events.

  • Maintain product information material and organize for quick reference when needed.

  • Initiate warranty claims.

  • Identify issues with various kits and communicate customer needs to Product Development team. 

  • Track and report on customer feedback to help drive continuous improvement in products and services.

  • Stay knowledgeable about emerging off-road vehicles and related trends, including model variations and updates.

  • Promote and embody the Baja Designs brand through excellent customer interaction.

  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, off-road expos, and special events as needed.



What You Bring to the Team:

  • High School Diploma or focus related field experience required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).

  • MS Office Suite Intermediate Skills 

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Strong telephone skills.

  • Excellent teamwork skills.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work with a variety of personalities.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Knowledge of the off-road industry preferred.

  • Willingness to learn about Baja Designs and sPOD products and accessories.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Genysys, Sage and NetSuite Oracle.

  • Professional, Customer First attitude.

  • Be able to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to complete daily tasks with minimum supervision and a sense of urgency.

  • Have the ability to use independent judgment when needed.

  • Be dedicated, motivated, and have a strong work ethic.
     


Pay: $19 - 20 Hourly Plus Commission. D.O.E.


Location and Commitments:

  • Full-time.

  • Monday- Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm with a 1- hour lunch.

  • Commute to San Marcos, CA.
