3) Job & Job Description
 

Position: O.E. Technical Account Manager

Location: Livonia, MI

Reports to: Vice President, OE Sales

Overview:  The main responsibility for this position includes being the program manager for new product launches and serve as a technical liaison between Hankook O.E. customers (automobile manufacturers) and the internal Hankook Teams in Engineering, R&D, Quality, Sales, and Manufacturing.

4) Responsibilities
 

Receiving and analyzing customer technical RFQ documents and engineering requirements.
Deliver project technical requirements to Hankook R&D teams
Present technical assessments and program timing to customers
Be the program manager for new product lines and develop launch timelines and timing plans
Be the lead technical communicator and first customer contact for all technical teams
Analyze car market technical trends and gather information related to customer new vehicle plans and technologies
Make technical presentations to customers
Additional duties defined by management
 

5) Requirements
 

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required
Experience working with a Tier 1 automotive supplier
Experience working directly with automobile manufacturers
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Tire Industry experience required
