Maxxis International USA is looking for a new OE Account Manager at our US based locations. This position will help grow our business with automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers in North America by creating relationships with new customers, as well as strengthening relationships with long-term partners. We are looking for a new team member who is detail-oriented, analytical, has excellent communication skills, and is looking for long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their business needs and objectives (i.e. inside and outside sales)
- Manage our automotive OEM accounts; work closely with their purchasing teams to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues related to pricing, forecasting, quality, and deliveries
- Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, production planning and material control to address client requirements and deliver solutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to existing and prospective customers
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, including revenue forecasts, client satisfaction, and market share
- Conduct market research and identify new market opportunities
Key Competencies
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of building rapport and trust with new and existing customers
- Basic understanding of tires and our products, enough to be able to provide insight and solutions to customers
- Ability to identify key points and implications when communicating with customers
- Organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail even in a fast-paced environment
- Proven proficiency in MS Office, notably Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Education and Experience
- At least three (3) years of OE sales experience in the automotive or tire industry required
- Completion of post-secondary degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or other related fields preferred
