Job Description
The Northwest Sales Manager plays a key role in the overall success of ARB’s North American business development strategy. This position is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new sales opportunities within the NW territory and advancing the annual sales goals of established dealer accounts. Candidates who possess a take-charge attitude, are highly motivated, and have previous sales experience are encouraged to apply. This position is eligible for remote work in either WA or OR and will manage sales in WA, OR, AK, and Western Canada.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Defining and executing effective territory sales strategies used to achieve short, medium, and long-term sales objectives
- Analyzing and being proactive to sales trends and patterns
- Reporting on new business opportunities as well as competitive product capabilities and developments within the market
- Developing relationships with new dealers and distributors to increase NW territory sales coverage while encouraging continued growth from established accounts
- Establishing discount level and sale expectations for new accounts
- Training dealers and distributors on the primary differences between ARB products and competitor products; providing field support and/or technical assistance to dealers and end users as required
- Traveling within the region (up to 40%), occasional out of region travel (up to 10%)
- Representing ARB at various trade shows and attending functions supporting dealers and consumers
- Utilizing interpersonal skills to foster a positive presence within the 4×4 community
Experience/Skills/Education
- 5+ years of successful outside sales and account management experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in sales or related field preferred
- Automotive knowledge/experience highly preferred
- Key account management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and closing skills with customers and prospects
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and value-added benefits
- Strong work ethic, team player mentality, and ability to perform outstanding work remotely
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Compensation
$75,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
