We are hiring a Marketing Manager, North America to be a part of our Aftermarket team. The NA Marketing Manager will participate in the global marketing function as the regional lead in determining the strategy and actions to deliver growth and revenues for the business. This role is crucial in developing/driving our strategic plan, overseeing product management (including identifying product roadmaps, preparing business cases, delivering on new product launches), executing trade events, and developing pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis to enhance our brand presence and achieve business objectives. The Marketing Manager will develop strong business relationships with customers, understand key market drivers, complete competitor analysis, and aggressively pursue expanding Garrett’s product reach into the region.
Responsibilities include:
- Processes
- Regional responsibility for defining 5-year strategic plan, annual operating plan, pricing strategy, product roadmap (including preparing / presenting business cases, product launch actions, tracking sales / taking quick action to ensure plan is met), providing competitive intelligence and voice of the customer activities (VOC) through interaction with distributors, mechanics and end customers.
- Operational Activities
- Manage a direct report where together you will support channel and regional analysis to meet KPIs (including revenue and volume targets).
- Support digital initiatives in region by engaging with sales team and customers to determine success factors and training/promotional needs.
- Manage direct report including determining/monitoring/reviewing their goals/objectives to meet performance objectives.
- Marketing
- Build strategic campaigns to promote sales and brand equity to targeted segments.
- Provide Support at Garrett and distributor events fairs / events, which may overlap weekends from time to time.
- Define omnichannel approach for both physical and digital requirements to support the business.
- Activation of the global value propositions, to cascade the messages down through the SR value chain stakeholders.
- Design and implement community engagement & activation activities for the NA region.
- Oversee product management and identify product roadmaps within the context of the global strategy. This person will be the NA proxy for Global Product Management, and will work in collaboration with the Global Product Managers.
- Implement NA pricing strategies, which need to be developed in line with the strategic global pricing principles.
- Management
- Manage direct report to support data analytics, pricing activities, and marketing needs.
- Support regional sales goals by providing regular data inputs to support monthly demand planning, sales and marketing reviews, supply chain and accounts receivables meetings.
- Deploy actions to achieve revenue and volume targets for the North American region by supporting identification/review of channel expansion targets and employ marketing tactics to develop existing customers to expand and grow opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or similar field.
- 10 years in marketing or business development; automotive industry preferred.
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with ability to identify how best to relate Garrett’s value proposition to targeted accounts.
- High degree of time management and organization skills to prioritize time and manage multiple projects, direct reports and delegate as required to achieve results.
- Driven, resilient and resourceful to challenge and influence sales team, internal support functions and external customers to achieve results.
- Adept at marketing analysis, pricing strategies, and financial reporting with a demonstrated ability to present to varied audiences, including senior level executives.
- Strong attention to detail whilst maintaining a good perception of “the big picture”.
- Passionate about growing skillset and developing business opportunities.

Pay Range
The salary range for this role is between $113,900 and $142,400.
*Note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, education, training, and/or experience.
