The Inside Sales position is crucial for building and maintaining professional relationships with consumers and jobbers. The primary responsibility of the Inside Sales representative is to answer inbound sales calls from jobbers and consumers. Additionally, this position will work closely with existing dealers to support their needs, from technical service to marketing and sales materials, ensuring that each customer can effectively promote the Classic Instruments brand.

 

COMMISSION AVAILABLE ON ALL SALES!

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

 

Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):

  • Answer all inbound sales and product information calls
  • Respond to all sales-related e-mails in a timely manner
  • Provide leads to qualified and authorized Classic Instruments dealers
  • Provide leads to qualified Classic Instruments Warehouse Distributors
  • Follow up on all sales leads, whether consumer-related or wholesale-related
  • Ensure that the dealer is set up correctly and receives all marketing material available to them to aid them in selling Classic Instruments 
  • Provide help when needed to the tech department to alleviate the strain of heavy call days.
  • Become trained and efficient in the selling process
  • Attend events and trade shows when needed throughout the year
  • Close all sales opportunities, whether direct or through a dealer
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):

  • High School Education, or GED, is required. 
  • Demonstrate a high level of reliability and dependability.
  • Ability to work in an individually and in a team environment. 
  • Ability to work efficiently with little supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer knowledge, especially in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing. 

 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to perform extensive standing, sitting, walking, and climbing; lift 30 lbs. regularly; manipulate up to 50 lbs. with assistance in picking up and moving stock materials and supplies; and wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials
