Job Description

AS by DF is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support our growing account base and help drive success in our fashion-forward, luxury brand. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in sales and or customer service, ideally in the fashion industry, and will possess the skills to seamlessly step into this role. We are looking for someone who understands the fashion market, has prior experience in handling market calls, and can adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with confidence. In this role, you will work closely with AS by DF sales management, supporting our department store and boutique brick-and-mortar partners, as well as our direct e-commerce and drop-ship channels. Your primary responsibilities will include account management, customer service, and ensuring the optimization of AS by DF’s presence in the competitive fashion market. You will be expected to maintain high standards of service to an upscale client base, solving problems quickly and efficiently, and always with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships, providing exceptional support to retail partners and customers through both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Assist with order and inventory management using Shopify, Full Circle, and NuOrder systems.
  • Develop and execute effective sales campaigns to drive growth.
  • Coordinate seasonal product launches in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Monitor online product pricing and submit regular reports to ensure alignment with brand standards.
  • Create and maintain a variety of sales and performance reports.
  • Prospect and secure new accounts, following the process from initial outreach to first order.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, soliciting re-orders and driving new sales opportunities.
  • Manage scheduling for markets and events, ensuring efficient coordination and communication.
  • Provide support to our network of showrooms across the country, fielding requests and offering necessary data.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales or customer service, with a strong preference for experience in the fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce and sales platforms, including Shopify, Full Circle, and NuOrder (or similar systems).
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when engaging with luxury clientele and retail partners.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Comfortable working independently, while also being a team player in cross-functional settings.
  • Familiarity with data management and report generation.
