ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Manage the activities of the assigned functional area as directed by senior management.
2. Interact internally and externally with senior-level management requiring negotiation of difficult matters.
3. Update senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations on functional area goals and daily activities. Support and lead global teams when needed. Provide appropriate training and direction to all members to ensure the achievement of all goals.
4. Meet with key customers, assisting Sales Account Managers and Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
OTHER DUTIES:
• Travel as required to support global events.
• Approve upcoming annual Sales and Expense Budget.
• Facilitate weekly sales and managers meetings.
• Develop sales strategies in coordination with product and sales teams.
• Perform other related duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or business or equivalent experience required • 7 to 10 years’ experience in automotive sales required • Specific knowledge of electromechanical components required • Strong & effective communication and presentation skills required • Knowledge of customer service best practices • FORD experience is preferred, but not a must • Organizational skills
