Job Description

Position Summary: The Exhaust Manufacturing Department is looking for Fabricators to join the team on 1st and 2nd shift! These positions will support production of cold-side tubes and headers by operating a variety of shop machinery and tools, both automatic and manual such as saws, drills, grinders, sanders and formers.


Roles & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):



  • Fabricates thin-gauge mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum material to specification.

  • Reads and comprehends job work instruction “process sheets.”

  • Operates fabrication machinery to include but not limited to saws, formers, drills, and grinders.

  • Inspects completed product for defects and quality based on specifications.

  • Completes requires job documentation and process reports for assigned jobs.

  • Cleans, labels and bags finished products to forward to packaging.

  • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor

  • Maintains the work area and equipment following established cleaning, disinfecting and safety protocols.

  • Wears all required PPE in accordance with safety regulations.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Requirements:



  • Minimum intermediate knowledge of manufacturing equipment, shop tools and machinery.

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet output goals and schedules.

  • Ability to comprehend simple written and verbal instructions, procedures and process sheets

  • Must be able to communicate effectively.

  • Possesses basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

  • Excellent attention to detail, follow-thru and commitment to quality.


Education and/or Experience:



  • High School Diploma/GED and 3-6 months’ experience working in manufacturing environment with machine operation, assembly and packaging highly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Welding certification desirable, but not required.


Hours: Mon – Friday (overtime available as approved)



  • 1st Shift: 6am – 2:30pm

  • 2nd Shift: 2pm – 10:30pm
