E-Commerce Associate:
Mishimoto is looking for an E-Commerce Associate. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our e-commerce platform (Magento) and managing product content across various third-party marketplaces. Reporting to the Director of E-Commerce and working closely with the broader e-commerce team, you will focus on backend product and website updates, product data management, and operational excellence across our digital platforms. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, comfortable working in the backend of Magento (or similar enterprise eCommerce platforms), and ready to take ownership of product data and content on ChannelAdvisor, our primary integration tool for third-party marketplaces.
What You’ll Do
- Execute day-to-day updates on the Magento platform, including product listings, descriptions, images, pricing, and content.
- Ensure all promotions, web changes, and content updates are reflected accurately and optimized for conversion.
- Perform quality assurance tests on website updates to maintain a seamless customer experience.
Marketplace Operations:
- Manage and maintain product data on third-party platforms using ChannelAdvisor.
- Ensure optimal product presentation and continuity across selling platforms.
- Monitor and resolve issues with product listings, including stock availability, product flows, and pricing discrepancies.
- Communicate and drive case management for product listing errors and other discrepancies on third-party platforms.
Product Data & Content Management:
- Own product data updates and maintain accuracy across all systems (e-commerce platform, ChannelAdvisor, and marketplaces).
- Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to implement campaigns, promotions, and SEO strategies to improve site performance and search visibility.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track key metrics such as inventory availability, product attributes, and marketplace account health.
- Analyze website and marketplace metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and suggest optimizations.
Your Creds:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years of e-commerce operations experience, including managing/merchandising marketplace accounts (Magento and Channel Advisor experience is a HUGE plus).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, especially Magento 2.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and product management.
