Job Description

The District Manager is responsible for the overall growth of the assigned stores and team in the given market. Responsible for daily interaction with Call Center Manager and Store Managers, help train, coach and implement set processes and procedures as set forth by company policy.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Store operations
  • Ensure store managers are operating within payroll hours
  • Day to day store operation procedures are being followed
  • Inventory and cycle counts
  • Answers customer questions and addresses complaints
  • Store opening and closing duties
  • Handles cash, cash counts and deposits
  • Provides a safe work environment
  • Supervise several employees
  • Assigns work duties as needed
  • Achieve Team sales growth
  • Train and coach Call Center representatives to grow sales within existing accounts
  • Be vigilant to customer opportunities over the phone
  • Review reports daily
  • Be aware of individual Call Center Sales Representatives performance
  • Create action plan to react to declining sales opportunities in the market
  • Ensure team is effectively promoting monthly specials and promotions
  • Ensure team is promoting value added services
  • Maintain store operations
  • Sales Reports
  • Meeting presentations
  • Employee evaluations

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding goals
  • MUST have multi-Unit management experience
  • 4-year degree preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge of auto parts or automotive industry preferred
  • Experience in call center sales or sales management

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:

Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.  Employee also share the responsibility to perform routine housekeeping activities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning and changing trash can liners.
