As part of Holley Customer Experience Marketing (CXM) eCommerce org, you will be helping build the future of Holley’s 360° digital retail experience platform. The mission of the Holley CXM team is to help customers find and buy the right products from our expanding selection of inventory across the Holley family of stores, distributors, partners, and marketplace sellers.
About The Role
The Director of eCommerce will be responsible for establishing and scaling our eCommerce business. This role will oversee the development and execution of our digital commerce strategy across DTC and B2B, aiming to grow the business to achieve aggressive growth targets over the next several years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce, technology, and team leadership, with a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy for both B2B and direct-to-consumer markets.
- Department Establishment: Build and lead the eCommerce department, including hiring and developing a high-performing team.
- Revenue Growth: Set and achieve ambitious growth targets within the first few years.
- Technology & Software: Act as a key strategic champion, in partnership with finance, technology and sales teams to oversee the implementation and operation of eCommerce platforms and technologies to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Process Optimization: Develop and refine processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, and other departments to align eCommerce initiatives with overall business goals.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize eCommerce operations through a robust testing culture and approach to feature development
- Customer Experience: Ensure a superior connected shopping experience across channels and product segments through effective UX/UI design, site performance, and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in eCommerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, with responsibility for the full eCommerce P&L and associated forecasts, budgets, and investment plans
- Skills:
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in eCommerce.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, technologies, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with both DIY and professional-grade automotive engine management products.
- Several years of experience in a Tier 1 or OEM as an eCommerce practitioner.
- Knowledge of the latest advancements across after-market auto parts industry.
- Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and standards.
