YOUR TASKS

FORVIA – HELLA Corporate Center USA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director. The focus of this role will be to foster a team oriented sales environment. This opportunity will play a pivotal role in the development and growth of Forvia Hella’s world class lighting products.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Inspire and motivate a dedicated customer group within automotive lighting business line
  • Lead and mentor department account managers
  • Act as the central contact for the customer, steering all activities related to the customer projects from pre-development, acquisition, series development, and production until EOP (one face to the customer).
  • Establish sustainable business relationships to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate to define overall customer strategies. Actively drive acquisitions, define the technical content, and commercial framework in order to achieve the customer targets (technical and commercial).
  • Prepare and conduct commercial negotiations to ensure the necessary profitability of our business.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience on similar position in automotive industry
  • 2+ years experience leading sales teams
  • Open-minded personality, easy to approach and able to motivate and inspire others
  • Strong interest in selling highly innovative and complex products
  • Willing to go the extra-mile and to tackle complex challenges
