Overview

The Automotive Fabricator is a member of the TLC 4x4 / Retro Design Team working to provide exceptional automotive restoration.   The Automotive Fabricator reports to the General Manager of TLC 4x4.

Requirements

• Experience with MIG and TIG Welding


• Must have experience with custom fabrication and automotive restoration


• Must own and maintain tools


• Must be able to work independently and stay on task


• Must be able to work well with other team members

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, and/or relevant experience. This position requires experience with metal fabrication and welding for both restoration and new custom fabrication in an automotive environment.  Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced production environment.  Must be able to communicate and work well with team members in the shop.  Must be able to pass an extensive background screening.

Working Conditions

Must be able to stand for 8-9 hours per day and physically lift / carry up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, you will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate and temperature is climate controlled.
