Overview of the Catalog Analyst

The Catalog Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and auditing automotive product fitment data stored in our digital catalog. This role supports the launch of new products and the maintenance of existing products. This role is responsible for catalog and fitment data that is used to accurately display products on our internal websites, marketplaces and our drop-ship partners as well.

 

General Responsibilities

  • Create and manage existing e-Catalog product content with a focus on automotive product fitment i.e., year, make, model and product attribute data.
  • Employ data driven fitment creation as opposed to manual creation whenever possible.
  • Review, clean and/or correct fitment data provided by suppliers.
  • Evaluate product listing data quality and benchmark against industry best practices.
  • Analyze reported listing discrepancies provided by users or systems. Act by implementing modifications to existing content or add new content to address reported discrepancies.
  • Develop and enhance Value Add content. Value Add content includes digital assets, marketing copy, features and benefits, attribute specifications, cross references, product relationships, cross sell content and keyword search alias content.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or minimum one-year related experience in database management.
  • Previous experience in e-Catalog content processing a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of automotive or powersport cataloging a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL programming is a plus
  • Understanding of Aces and Pies automotive fitment data is a plus.
