From print magazine editor-in-chief (8-Lug Magazine and Work Truck Review) to newsroom manager (Fourwheeler.com/Trucktrend.com) to newsroom writer (MotorTrend.com), the various roles during my 18-year adventure with (what is now) MotorTrend were super awesome.

My greatest recent accomplishment: MotorTrend.com's #3 page-view author for 2023. This was unpaid page views--the paid views were tremendous, as you can imagine. Never in my wildest dreams had I aspired to such. I am incredibly grateful.

I am educated and am loaded with common sense, but best of all, I'm an automotive enthusiast and have an array of rad trucks that I hold dear to my heart.

I have training in Biblical Counseling (Master of Arts (MA) in Biblical Counseling from The Master's College), which is essentially how to use the Word of God as the ultimate instruction book for life. While I have not formally used this training because of my former loyalty to MT, it's my foundation for purpose, virtue, decision-making, and good reasoning. I continually use it informally and apply it to both life's messy valley lows and its smooth mountain highs.
