We’re looking for a Calibrator who will contribute directly to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and technical innovation by creating, refining, and supporting performance calibrations for customer vehicles and in-house builds.


VMP Performance is a family-owned, 15-person team based in New Smyrna Beach, FL, known for our in-house engineered superchargers, custom tuning, and turn-key performance builds. We serve a passionate, global customer base and pride ourselves on blending innovation, quality, and integrity—all while doing what we love, with people we trust.


What you'll do:




  • Develop, test, and refine custom ECU calibrations (primarily Ford platforms, especially Mustang GT, GT500, and F-150)




  • Support both in-house builds and remote tuning customers




  • Collaborate with sales and support team to ensure calibrations align with customer goals




  • Troubleshoot drivability, performance, or hardware integration issues




  • Assist in R&D projects, dyno testing, and product development efforts




  • Help improve internal systems, processes, and knowledge sharing




 What We’re Looking For:




  • Solid experience in EFI tuning (SCT, HP Tuners, or similar)




  • Strong mechanical knowledge of late-model domestic performance vehicles




  • Analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems and learning continuously




  • Clear, professional communicator—both written and verbal




  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable




  • Comfortable using dyno equipment and datalogging tools




  • Ability to manage workload independently while supporting the team




Bonus Points If You Have:




  • Ford-specific tuning experience 




  • Experience with remote tuning 




  • Familiarity with performance hardware (boosted applications, injectors, fuel systems)




  • Interest in contributing to marketing content, tech guides, or video walkthroughs
