Position Summary

The Strategic Account Manager, BSRO Fleet Sales drives day to day business development, increases profitability, and improves customer satisfaction for national and regional accounts. This role is headquarters based, works cross functionally, and has a direct relationship with the National Account Managers. The Strategic Account Manager, BSRO Fleet Sales analyses business results (revenue and gross profit) on the daily, develops fleet operational strategy, and creates contact plan to guide fleet account managers and field teammates.


Responsibilities


  • Dedicated owner of day-to-day business development focused on Tier 1 accounts.




  • Cultivate relationships with BSAM National Accounts Managers to drive greater penetration within the existing customer base.




  • Understand account level P&L and identify strategies to grow both sales and profits.




  • Mine sales data to identify account opportunities in existing and new accounts and make informed recommendations regarding product/service terms that will maximize sales and profits.




  • Employ a standardized process to gather information about accounts, identify decision makers, understand business challenges and priorities of fleets’ senior management, analyze data, and prioritize critical opportunities.




  • Responsible for developing fleet specific operational strategies and contact plan to guide field teammates to support growth, profitability, and sales goals.




  • Evaluates issues preventing fleet sales; address customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensure timely response to inquiries.




  • Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews with internal senior leaders to understand their needs while highlighting the B2B business within BSRO.




  • Partner cross-functionally with the operations, field, and marketing teams to deliver on our service promises.






  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly managing large national accounts




  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills




  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities




  • Deep understanding of the industry and market dynamics




  • Ability to travel to meet with clients across the assigned division




  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field




Preferred Qualifications




  • Minimum of 8 years of national account experience






  • Bachelor's degree; 6 y+ years of relevant experience including 3-5 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience




  • Or Master's degree; 4+ years of relevant experience including 2-4 years management or direct/indirect leadership experience
