Job Mission

At AMS Performance, we take pride in engineering and manufacturing the highest quality performance products in the aftermarket automotive industry. As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards before they reach our customers. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and ability to work within a team will directly contribute to our success.


The ideal candidate for this role is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong sense of accountability. You should have a passion for cars, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to excellence in every product you assemble. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, packaging, and inspecting products to ensure they meet AMS Performance’s strict quality standards. Working as a member of our Production Team, you will help maintain efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in every aspect of the production process.


As a Production Associate, your work goes beyond just assembling products. You will be an integral part of a team that delivers industry-leading performance parts to car enthusiasts and racers worldwide. By maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency, you will help AMS Performance continue to set the benchmark in the automotive aftermarket industry.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Building and Assembling Products

    • Receive items and build assembly ticket from Inventory Clerk

    • Check to make sure all items are included, and counts are accurate

    • Assemble, pack, seal, and labels products

    • Bring finished product to Inventory Clerk

    • Confers and corresponds with manager to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications

    • Performs inventory of equipment, raw material and fluids required for assembly

    • Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, processes, efficiency and service

    • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement

    • Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required

    • Assist with annual inventory count, one weekend per year



  • Quality Control

    • Assist with inspecting inventory upon receiving shipments

    • Measure dimensions on a random sample of each production batch to ensure components conform to our standards

Experience & Qualifications

  • Multi-tasking, prioritization, organization

  • Detail oriented. We produce the highest quality products in the aftermarket performance parts industry and require a high attention to detail from our team members.

  • Ability to work with multiple teams and their requirements related to inventory

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Demonstrated interest in cars & racing
