Duties: Primary liaison between GHQ (Global Headquarters), RHQs (Regional Headquarters) and NNA (Niterra North America) for all project assigned within Commercial Business Operations (CBO) group. Manage, negotiate and resolve critical issues between GHQ, RHQ and NNA for the projects above. Provide project management for mobility related projects being led by GHQ and RHQ teams. (Customer trackers, compiling customer feedback, meeting minutes, report generation, etc.). Collect and coordinate technical requirements for mobility related products from product development phase through production for North American customers. Manage and support weekly collaboration and translation between GHQ & NNA CBO as assigned. Complete market research, forecasting, RFI (request for information)/ RFQ (request for quote) creation, development activities, etc. for CBO projects. Support localizing of product development activities, including creation of new teams and processes for product development. (i.e., communication with design consultants, project representatives, etc.). Engage in industry(s) events to network and find new mobility related business opportunities. Search out and research mega trends for new mobility related business opportunities. Support with identifying and attending conferences and technical exchanges related to CBO activities. Primary contact to support Automotive systems integration and power electronics. Lead & support all local & Japan training. Manage training Modules for all current & future products. Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to IATF16949 and ISO14000.
Travel requirements: Travel will include international and domestic travel. 6-10 times per year for a duration of 1-5 business days per business trip. Will be up to 10% of the job duties.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Engineer, Finance or related field plus 15 years of experience in Automotive Engineering or related occupation.
Minimum skills requirement: Ability to speak, read and write fluently in Japanese. Knowledge of business trends and technology in the automobility field Knowledge of all fields and disciplines required comprehending the products, materials, procedures, process and analysis and QA functions of automotive components. Experience with negotiations to resolve issues. Experience with program management for auto mobility projects. Experience with Market research of automotive components. Experience with forecasting sales of automotive components. Experience with business case development in automotive components. Experience with product development in automotive components.
