Job Description

The Director – National Retailers will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with assigned National Retailers to drive revenue growth and market share. The Director – National Retailers will collaborate closely with other departments to execute effective sales strategies and ensure the success of products in retail environments. 


Key Responsibilities                                      



  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets with key national retailers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at each retailer.

  • Negotiate contracts, and terms to maximize profitability and market share.

  • Collaborate with marketing, business unit leads and supply chain team to ensure effective product launches, promotions, inventory management in retail stores.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities.

  • Track competitor activity and stay ahead of market trends.

  • Present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and strategies to senior management highlighting key achievements and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develops a deep understanding of company’s product lines and assigned retailers’ businesses in order to make recommendations to drive business growth and enhance market presence.

  • Designs and recommends sales programs including plan-o-grams, store tests, promotions and marketing projects. 

  • Provides product training to national retailers personnel to drive sales growth


Basic Qualifications 



  • Bachelor's degree is required.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience.

  • Proven track record of successful sales management experience with a focus on national accounts.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, marketing strategies, and product management. 

  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Must be willing to travel.
