Job Description
Summary: Responsible for developing detail drawings, creating, and maintaining bills of material in ERP and PDM, and ensuring the smooth flow of work through an engineering change notice system.
Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000
Duties and Responsibilities
- Use SolidWorks to create CAD models and assemblies.
- Use SolidWorks to create detail drawings.
- Creates assembly drawings with exploded views for installation and work instructions.
- Performs engineering change notice updates to engineering documents.
- Works closely with design and manufacturing engineers and assists in the development of new products.
- Maintains Infor Syteline ERP data that is directly related to engineering products including updating descriptions, revision fields, drawing numbers, and bill of materials.
- Creates new part numbers and bill of materials that are a result of engineering changes or new products.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
Required
- Associate’s degree (AA /AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred
- Familiarity with automotive suspension components
