Job Description

Summary: Responsible for developing detail drawings, creating, and maintaining bills of material in ERP and PDM, and ensuring the smooth flow of work through an engineering change notice system.

Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000

Duties and Responsibilities

• Use SolidWorks to create CAD models and assemblies.
• Use SolidWorks to create detail drawings.
• Creates assembly drawings with exploded views for installation and work instructions.
• Performs engineering change notice updates to engineering documents.
• Works closely with design and manufacturing engineers and assists in the development of new products.
• Maintains Infor Syteline ERP data that is directly related to engineering products including updating descriptions, revision fields, drawing numbers, and bill of materials.
• Creates new part numbers and bill of materials that are a result of engineering changes or new products.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

Required

• Associate’s degree (AA /AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties
• Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred

• Familiarity with automotive suspension components
