Job Description

As a sales professional, you will work in a fast-paced environment with customers to find the right vehicle that fits their lifestyle and ensure that every potential customer has a positive and memorable brand experience. You will work both independently and in collaboration with key partners, Marketing, Product Planning, and other stakeholders to recommend improvements that contribute to Alpine’s brand’s vision. You may be temporarily required to work in remote (Torrance and/or Lake Forest, CA) offices as instructed by the Director of New Business Development & Marketing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate sales from the Internet and in-person leads created from store walk-ins, advertising, and events.
  • Create, and build relationships and maintain records of customer interaction.
  • Articulate vehicle line-up and differences between available packages to the customer.
  • Demonstrate vehicle upgrades to the customer while educating them on key features.
  • Meet and exceed department goals and sales objectives.
  • Be a key contributor to New Business Development
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to sales objectives.
  • Lead in meaningful VOC (voice of customer) process by ensuring that valuable questions/data are created and captured to help support decisions.
  • Travel to test market and key selling events that contribute to goals and sales objectives.
  • Take ownership and report on assignments by the Director of New Business Development and Marketing or brand leadership.
  • Take on projects; manage, lead, and execute key New Business Development initiatives, follow up with responsible parties, and make sure projects are completed on time. 
  • Build relationships with project teams and managers, to help drive completion of high-quality project deliverables.
  • Ensure punctual attendance per defined work schedule and comply with the attendance policy for time reporting, break periods, and overtime if applicable.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; and 2+ years of related experience. Familiarity or experience in emerging trends such as EV mobility, metaverse, and portable audio devices is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL and/or ABILITY

  • 2+ years of automotive sales experience is a MUST
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills to include: Contact Management Software, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Process-driven, motivated, and have outstanding attention to detail.
  • Outgoing personality, positive attitude, and professional appearance.
  • Committed and willing to learn, and work as a team to achieve desired results
  • Must possess a clean driving record, pass an extensive personal background
